About us
Our paths could hardly have started more differently—yet they crossed in 2011, on the first day of our studies. Since then, there’s hardly been a day we haven’t spent together.
We completed our bachelor’s in Frankfurt and our master’s in Marburg—always accompanied by a hunt for adventures, big and small. The most beautiful ones found us in Vietnam and Portugal.
Today we’re back in Frankfurt, happily moving between everyday life and wanderlust—with open hearts for new places, good food, and genuine connections. A quiet promise we made in Marburg: one day we’d share our home with a dog. Said, felt, done—now Max, our Portuguese rescue dog, lives with us and brings a little more life into the house every day.
We love to spend our summer evenings on the terrace—with friends, good wine, plenty of candles, and everything that feels light and easy.

Watercolors, brushes, and especially beautifully wrapped gifts are wonderful!
Delights in little birds, flowers, and bees on the rooftop terrace.
Thinks strawberries—and strawberry punch—are great.
Has two homes.

Is a perfectionist and sometimes gets in her own way.
Making decisions is hard.
If she weren’t here right now, she’d be traveling the world’s beautiful places—or returning to Portugal… or Iceland. With Lukas!

Hey, I’m Lukas, a child of the early ’90s. In my childhood I loved being read to, and just before starting school I wrote my first story. I still remember the title well: Die Hölen-Hekse. These days I don’t write much, and I sometimes miss it. Maybe I make up for that with photography, where you can tell an entire story in a single image.
I prefer to act quickly rather than overthink a situation—which is always also an opportunity. Call it impulsive, unconsidered, or spontaneous. In stressful moments I usually keep a cool head and try to find a good, fast solution.
I’m really into vinyl. My collection is a good mix of old rock from Pink Floyd and contemporary techno from Richie Hawtin or Extrawelt. And speaking of retro: I’ve got an N64 and I’m an enthusiastic Mario Kart driver and Super Smash Bros. brawler. Fancy a round?
I like people who do things out of passion, inner motivation, and joy—people who roll up their sleeves instead of just talking and philosophizing. People who have ideas, try things, and celebrate chances and possibilities instead of shying away from potential losses.
Iceland has been my absolute dream country since a presentation in fourth grade. But because the climate in the warm south suits me better, I’d probably only have Iceland as a second home—and Portugal as my first. Either a great city apartment in Lisbon or a sleepy surfer town on the west coast. I still need to think it over—and talk it through with Lily.
